You previosuly could only use this tool on our listing form. Now you can use it before even creating an account, by visting this page, and entering in the name of your item and selecting the appropriate category. If you enter the information correctly (make sure your item is spelled correctly), and our database has information on this item, you will be able to find out the new and used average value for that item.

2/19/2020 | The Grid50 Resources page has been updated

Grid50’s Resources page has been updated with a new design and layout to make it easier to navigate:

1/30/2020 | Our new Market Value Tools are now available

At Grid50, we are constantly trying to improve our website and user interface to make it easier for users to buy and sell camera gear. One of our latest improvements is our new set of market value tools, made to make it easier for shoppers to find the best deals on our website.

If you haven’t noticed already, we recently launched our new Market Value tool, which you can find on the shop page in the left sidebar:

Market Value Slider

Going right along with this new feature, you will also notice when you click through to the product details page, that there is now a message that indicates the percentage below the market value the item is priced at:

Market Value

The message will only show on items that our price tool has been able to calculate and the item is 5% or more below its average market value.

12/13/2019 | Introducing our new Listing Form & Price Tool

We’re excited to let you know about two new key features we’ve just launched on Grid50!

First, we’ve redesigned the listing form to make easier and simpler to quickly list your camera gear:

Listing Form
The form sports a new, fresh design and offers tips along the way to help you list your gear.

Second, we’ve added a pricing tool directly in this form that will help you look up the value of your gear and determine what to price your listing at:

Price Tool

When listing a new item, simply add the name of your item (ex. Sony a6300) then select the appropriate category (ex. Mirrorless Cameras) and if the item is in our database, the pricing tool will show you the average new and used value of that item. You can use this value to help you set the price for your listing.
